The new bridge is part of a $9 billion bridge that will connect the Indiana River with the Chicago River and connect the two cities for the first time.
The bridge is about 6.5 miles (11.8 kilometers) long, spans the length of the river, and will have eight lanes.
The project will be the first bridge to connect the Chicago and Portage Rivers.
But it won’t be the last.
This is just the first of many bridges that will be built along the Indiana and Portace Rivers.

The second-largest is the Canadian-built Toronto Bridge, which carries 1.6 million vehicles annually.
This new bridge will carry a record number of vehicles.
This will be a tremendous benefit to the economy of Indiana.
It will also be a great opportunity to build bridges around the world.
The Chicago-based TransCanada Corp. will build the new South Bend Bridge.
In December 2016, the company began construction on its 1.8-mile (2.5 kilometers) Northern Kentucky Pipeline project, which will connect northern Indiana to western Canada.
The pipeline will carry about 100,000 barrels of crude oil per day, which is about half of what it carries today.
TransCanada expects the project to begin delivering oil by 2021, although it has not yet set a date.
In the meantime, the pipeline is expected to be a bottleneck in the US pipeline network.
The South Bend Pipeline was originally proposed to carry 1.4 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude.
Now, the project will bring that to 1.3 million bpd.
The current pipeline, built by the Canadian company Energy East, is expected for completion by 2020.
But TransCanada has been slow to complete the project because of a lack of funds.
A new $1.5 billion project to replace the existing TransCanada pipeline will begin construction in 2018, but will not be finished until 2022.
The $4.3 billion project will extend the existing pipeline from a new terminus in Indiana to the southern border of the United State, with a new bridge and tunnel.
The extension will allow TransCanada to carry about 1 million bp per day of crude by 2021.
The entire project is expected not only to be cheaper to build, but also more efficient than the current pipeline.
The two pipelines will also create a pipeline corridor between Indiana and Ohio.
The construction of the TransCanada and the Trans-Canada-Cedar pipeline will create a natural gas pipeline to the south of Indiana, which supplies Ohio, Ohio’s eastern edge, and the Ohio Valley.
This pipeline will also carry natural gas from the Gulf of Mexico to northern Illinois.
This would cut down on the amount of greenhouse gases that are emitted by burning natural gas.
The Trans-Carge project is also part of the US-Canada pipeline network, which stretches from Quebec to New Brunswick.
The Keystone XL Pipeline will deliver oil from the tar sands in Canada to the Gulf Coast, and from there to refineries in Texas.
The Canadian pipeline project is a joint venture between the United Arab Emirates and Alberta.
It would link the Canadian and United Arab Emirati pipelines to the existing US pipeline.
Both the Trans Canada and Trans-Pacific Partnership are agreements between the countries.
The US-China pipeline is a project between the US and China, and would connect the US to the rest of Asia through the Sino-American Joint Economic Corridor.
The Trump administration has threatened to pull out of the Paris Agreement, which calls for curbing greenhouse gas emissions, including from the Keystone XL pipeline.
But Trump has also proposed to build a wall along the US border with Mexico.
The pipe between Indiana, Ohio, and Texas would connect to a pipeline that would run from the Canadian province of Ontario through Texas to the eastern edge of Michigan, which would then pass through Pennsylvania and Michigan into Canada.
